UUJO Justice Assenbly 2014 “GET SMART ON ORGANIZING”

Opening Plenary: A panel discussion engaging Democratic State Rep. Nickie Antonio, West Shore UU, Stephen Johnson-Grove from the Ohio Justice and Policy Center, Cincinnati and Amanda Hoyt, of Faith in Public Life offering guidance on how to impact issues before the Ohio General Assembly.
UUJO JA Issue Group Workshops: Immigration, Economic Justice, Criminal and Racial Justice, LGBTQ, Environment, Voting Rights, and Reproductive Freedom will promote education, service and advocacy through lobbying, litigation, media, public witness, and civil disobedience. Lunch work groups include a Ministers’ Caucus and a Youth Caucus.
