Hopedale is a participant in Oxford Habitat work. The group is still waiting for a family, has a site with a lovely shed on it, and is waiting for the word to start building.
Jennifer Blue would like to make a list of volunteers, so that we can start when the time comes. If you’re interested in volunteering on an upcoming Saturday, please email Jennifer at bluejm@muohio.edu. Please let her know whether you are interested in (1) construction work, (2) support work, like bringing lunch or drinks, or both.
There will be an upcoming Pancake Breakfast to support the project on Sunday, March 25, 8:30am – 1pm at St Mary’s Parish Center, 15 Poplar Street (next to the Police Station). There will be pancakes, sausage, coffee & orange juice will be available, donations are accepted at the door. All Proceeds benefit the Oxford Faith Build Habitat for Humanity house.
