Cincinnati area UUs participate in the activitities of the Metropolitan Area Religious Coalition of Cincinnati (MARCC) as one of the denomination judicatories. Homelessness/Affordable Housing is one of MARCC’s 2011 Concerns voted upon by judicatory delegates at the Judicatories Shared Planning Conference last November.
As many members and Friends of MARCC as possible need to join with others at a Prayer Vigil to support the progress of the Anna Louise Inn on Wednesday, August 10th at 9:30 am at the Hamilton County Court House on the Court House steps on the Main Street side. Following this prayer vigil, at 11 am the court case will be heard inside the Court House. We need everyone who is able to attend the prayer vigil to support the mission and renovation of the Anna Louise Inn where it stands now and has stood for over 100 years on Lytle Park Square providing safe and affordable housing for women in Cincinnati. – Information submitted UUCGC and posted by Liz Woedl
